Look Who's Here!

Emmy is having so much fun at grandma's. We already went to Mere's Volleyball game, played the piano, the drums, made brownies, and ate our very first tootsie pop! We are having so much fun.

Emmy went in for a hug and a kiss from that little girl Lily, and she was not having it. Lily just stood there stiff as a board. It was too funny.

Fishing in Utah

Well, I am still waiting for the snow to melt in the mountains, but that is not stopping me from fishing on my days off. I love the beauty of the mountains, and the feeling I get when I am up there. I caught about a 3 pound cut throat trout, and it was huge. I should have taken a picture of it!!

I Love the scenery shot. I hiked up to this lake, and this is what I saw. It was cold, but amazing. The snow covered the ground and the lake was still frozen in a few areas. I hit the ice with rocks, and then caught about 14 fish. I love it!!!

I can't wait until this summer to fish this lake again. I just wish Grandpa Baker was here with me to catch some fish. I need to show him a thing or two about how to catch fish!

Hi Lilly-

I just wanted you to know that I miss you and can't wait to see you in a couple weeks at my house. We are going to have so much fun. We can go on bike rides, go to the beach, and maybe you can help me and teach me to walk. I told my mom that you should stay more then one day and she agrees. Now we just have to convince your mom. ?I love you. Can't wait to see you.

Easter!

Well, sorry its a little late, but we thought you'd all like to know how our Easter went out here in Utah. It really didn't feel like an easter sunday. Kati and I went to church and then came home to watch some college basketball. Man, there was some good games on! We did want to make it feel like it was Easter so we ended up dying some eggs. It was a blast!

Look at how beautiful my fiance is. I am one lucky guy. Look how she poses for the picture.

This picture was taken yesterday, March 30th. Yes, that is snow you see on the ground! Spring in Utah can be a scary thing. Kati and I are so excited to go to AZ and get some warm weather!

Cali Baby!!!

This had to be the best day of my life! We started the day off by driving to Carmel. It was absolutely beautiful. We had a picnic on the beach and sat on our blankets and enjoyed the warm weather. Around two o'clock Kati and I went for a walk looking for "sea shells" I really took her on a walk so I could ask her to marry me. Right below Pebble Beach Golf Course I got on one knee, and she said YES!!! It couldn't have been a better day.

On Friday Mom, Dad, Kati, my friends Travis and KyLynn, and I all went to San Fransisco. It was nice having Dad as our tour guide. We saw the Golden Gate, Giants Stadium, Lombard Street, Fort Point,Chinatown, and finished off the day at Pier 39. We got to see so many pretty sites in one day.

Here is a picture of us at the top of Fort Point. Look how beautiful my fiance is! I'm one lucky man. Pete

Ice Fishin'

One thing that I love about Utah is all of the outdoor activities you can do. During the winter there are limited things that you can do, but one thing that I found and enjoy is Ice Fishing. I have such a blast being out there on the lake and bringing in the fish.

This past weekend I went to Yuba Lake. It is located about 45 minutes to an hour south of Provo. I went down there with my Buddy Travis and his Dad. After the morning wind passed thru, I had a lot more fun. In 5 degree weather with wind, you think your nose is going to freeze off. But it was a blast.

I caught the biggest Perch of the day, along with the most fish I believe. We all caught around five or six Perch. Just another wonderful thing I do.

Vernal, Utah!!

I know you all get so anxious to see pictures of Kati and I so here we go again! This past weekend I had the pleasure of going home with Kati to stay at her house and be with her family. It was a fun filled weekend! The drive out was a blast, we drove half the time on snow, and my car has never been so dirty in its life. On Friday we went to Kati's sister's varsity basketball game. They didn't win but it was still fun to see her sister play. We stayed for the boys game to watch them play also. Later that night we went back to her house, played games, and visited with her family. It was a fun night!

Saturday we had plenty of things to do. We all woke up and went to "pit hill" to go sledding. You would not believe how fun sledding down this hill was! We had a four wheeler to take us to the top, so I didn't even get tired. There were a few times when Kati and I were flying down the hill and face planted it right into the snow.

We were so lucky we didn't get hurt from the crazy things we were doing! After sledding we mad sandwiches and then went and played some basketball. The whole family was there. It was a blast finally getting to play some basketball again. We were lucky that Kati's dad has keys to the church. After a couple of hours of playing basketball we were all pretty tired. We all wanted to rest but Kati's little brother insisted on going to shoot shotguns. Kati didn't like shooting my gun because it was more powerful than the others.

The last day we went to church and hung out at the house. It was so much fun to be in Vernal and hang out with Kati's family

Pinecrest- Home away from Home!

Our good family friends Judi and Buck took this picture of our cabin up at Pinecrest. Ahhhh how I want to be inside sipping hot coco wrapped up in a soft blankie. I love Pinecrest and can't wait for this summer when we get to take dips in the cold lake, eat yummy BBQ, campfires, hikes, trips to the store, star gazing, the shower ( the shower head at Pinecrest is amazing),and just spending time with family and seeing friends that we only see at Pinecrest once a year. CAN'T WAIT! Lilly is going to love it even more this year. I can just see her dirty face now.

Little Moments Like That!

Here ya'll go!! The moment that you all have been waiting for... pictures of Kati and I. We are having a great time dating! The first picture is of us ice skating. Yes, it was my first time but I am pretty much a professional. Kati knew exactly what she was doing out there on the ice. Neither one of us fell during the whole time skating, even though there was a few close encounters. I'm sure glad Kati loves to do all the stuff I like to do.

On Thursday night, the 24th, I bought two tickets for Kati and I to see Brad Paisley in concert! It was a blast! We saw three country performers, Chuck Wicks opened the show, then Rodney Atkins was next. Rodney Atkins sings that song "I've Been Watching Dad Ain't That Cool." I'm sure all of you know that song. He did an awesome job performing! We then got to hear Brad Paisley himself, and it was bomb diggity! Kati and I sang along to every song, well almost, Kati knew more than me. Ha Ha.

Here's a few pictures of Kati and I at the concert. We sat on the upper level on the right hand side of the stage. They were good seats, we could see the stage perfectly. I miss you all and wish you were here with me.

This last picture is of Brad Paisley himself!
